Happy New Year’s Eve! At the end of each year, I love taking a trip down memory lane to explore everything we accomplished both personally and professionally. With that, I always research which blog posts from the year were most popular. It not only helps with planning future content, but I always find this post each year to be so interesting, seeing what type of content you loved the most! It’s also interesting to see how much Pinterest or Google users can sway the results. With that, today I’m sharing my top 15 blog posts of 2024!

Prior Top 10 Blog Posts
It’s hard to believe, but this coming January 11th (less than two weeks away!) marks SEVENTEEN years of me blogging! Needless to say, I have created a lot of content over the years. Over 2,900 posts to be exact. This past year in particular, I created 161 posts which makes for a lot of content to read! So, I always find it helpful to recap my most read posts of the year! If you’re newer here, this is a great way to see some of my top projects and posts from over the year. And if you’re a long-time reader, you may enjoy seeing some of these posts again!
If you’re interested in my prior Top 10/15 Posts, I’ve included those below as well!

- Top 10 Posts of 2019
- Top 10 Posts of 2018

- Top 10 Posts of 2016
- Top 10 Posts of 2015
- Top 10 Posts of 2014
- Top 10 Posts of 2013
Many of the posts in those lists also made it into my top for 2024, but for today’s post, I’m only including blog posts that were actually published in 2024 – not just read or visited this year.
Posts published later in the year always have a disadvantage because they don’t have as much time to “marinate” on sites like Google and Pinterest. So, I’m always excited to see posts published later in the year that can still hold their own with posts from earlier in the year!
Now, let’s dig into the fifteen most popular posts on my site from 2024! While a few fashion-related posts made the list, most of the items have fully sold out, so I have excluded those posts at this time. Let’s jump in!
#15 – One Year: Our Florida Home Tour
On August 29th, we celebrated one year of living in our home! With that, I shared a one year home tour, which also doubled as my summer home tour, to share all of the spaces in our home.

#14 – Simple Bedroom Updates
I never really “decorated” our bedroom last year until the holidays. So when January rolled around, I was ready for some color. I made some simple bedroom updates that finally gave the space a little personality. I still have quite a bit I’d like to do in here, but my next focus is to add some drapes to soften the space up a bit.

#12 – Amalfi Coast Inspired Pool and Cabana Design Plans
One of the things we miss most about our Omaha home was our pool and pool house. So we came up with some plans for our backyard here to give it more of a resort vibe. We have some more work to do, but it’s slowly coming together! You can read more about my Amalfi Coast inspired pool and cabana design plans to see more of the space. The post also contains all the specs and products used on our pool and pool deck (I also have more here).

#11 – Palecek Isla Chandelier Look for Less Options
To this day, I’d still say my favorite item in our home is our kitchen chandeliers! They were a major splurge (even at cost with the builder’s discount), but I have zero regrets. They make such a statement – especially with our 12′ ceilings and otherwise all-white kitchen. But, I know they’re not only too large for many space, they’re also crazy expensive. So I shared this post on Palecek Isla chandelier look for less options that come in at different sizes and price points! Since publishing that post, we’ve installed this one in Hola Beaches Casita and this one in our guest bedroom. Clearly I love a good woven scalloped light fixture!

#9 – Anguilla Travel Guide
Kurtis and I had planned a trip to the little island of Anguilla in 2020 for our 15 year wedding anniversary. But, then 2020/the pandemic happened and we had to postpone it. We then had decided to plan the move to Florida and long story short, it took us until last February to get it rebooked. But we’re so glad we did! Anguilla is one of the most beautiful places we’ve been and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect vacation. You can read our full Anguilla travel guide that outlines where we stayed, what we did, where we ate, and more!

#7 – Hola Beaches Casita 30A Tour
I spent 6-8 weeks of the spring planning a full overhaul of Hola Beaches Casita, our latest 30A vacation rental, once we purchased it. We had a very tight window from closing to having all the furniture ordered, delivered, assembled and placed so we could get our listing live a few weeks before the busy 4th of July weekend. We love how it turned out and have been excited to host several of you since then! You can check availability and rates here.

#6 – Rechargeable Light Bulbs & Lamps
One of my favorite Amazon purchases ever are these cordless rechargeable table lamps. In fact, I love them so much we have them in three colors (and I’ve slowly been collecting additional shades for them like these for a whole new look)! With that, I shared all the other rechargeable light bulbs and lamps around our home, and ideas for how you can use something similar. Another favorite is the sconce we added to our laundry room. It’s not hardwired for a light there, so we just use a rechargeable light bulb, since it’s more of an aesthetic fixture anyway! You can see that project and more here.

It’s no secret I’m a huge fan of scalloped decor and have been for some time. And I don’t think this “trend” is going anywhere soon. In this post on scalloped home decor, I share my favorite scalloped pieces from over the years as well as new finds I found in 2024!

#2 – 2024 Spring Home Tour
Not gonna lie – I’m already perusing all the spring catalogues that were released this past week. Once I take my Christmas decor down (particularly in years I use red like I did this year) I’m ready for a fresh new look! Our 2024 spring home tour has some simple ideas for a fresh look after the holidays – even if you’re not ready to pull out the tulips and lilacs!

#1 – 2024 Christmas Home Tour
I was excited to see that our 2024 Christmas Home Tour took the top spot on the list! Not only was it one of the more recent posts of the year, it’s one that probably took the most work and effort to publish! I couldn’t have done it all without my mom helping me decorate this year.
