I started blogging in 2008 with a personal blog to share day-to-day happenings and home updates with our out-of-state family. In December 2012, I launched Life on Virginia Street with a focus on home decor and DIY projects as we began the process of updating our new-to-us home. I am also passionate about travel, fashion and shopping so there is also a little of that thrown in.
My projects have been featured on popular blogs and websites such as Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Better Homes & Gardens, Real Simple, Country Living (also here), Yahoo! Makers, Bob Vila, Good Housekeeping, Apartment Therapy, and many more. I was also named a Better Homes & Gardens Stylemaker from 2016-2022.
