Sharing my top picks for Palecek Isla chandelier look for less options!

Our Coastal Kitchen Featuring the Palecek Isla Chandelier

If you asked me my favorite item in our new house, it would easily be the Palecek Isla chandeliers in our kitchen! Our peninsula is over 13′ long and our ceilings are 12′ high, so with all the white, we wanted something that was a statement. And these gorgeous chandeliers deliver! I realized they’re just a light fixture, but they honestly make me so happy every time I see them!

SPRING KITCHEN SOURCES: Striped Runner Rug | Scalloped Chandeliers | Swivel Counter Stools | Woven Roman Shades (Bonaire Flaxen) | Faux Greenery | White Vase | Cabinet Knobs | Cabinet Bin Pulls | Cabinet Appliance Handles

But the reality is they are very expensive. They’ve also gone up in price in the year or so since I found them. Plus we were offered them at cost rather than retail price through our builder, and I still almost didn’t get them. In fact, if it weren’t for the lighting budget included in our new build, I likely wouldn’t have considered them at all. Does it mean that some of our rooms don’t have light fixtures at all yet outside of can lights? Yes, yes it does. But I’m still so happy with my decision to get these!

So, it has been my mission since we moved in last fall to find some good options that are a bit more budget-friendly. It’s taken some time for other retailers to offer something similar, but I think I’ve finally found a few good alternatives. But if you really have your heart set on the original, just know that I have seen the Palecek Isla Chandelier go on sale. Typically around 15-20% off, but even small savings can definitely add up!

SPRING LIVING ROOM SOURCES: Sofas (read my full review here) | Chairs | Coffee Table | Indoor/Outdoor Striped Rug | Linen Pillows (in Chambray/Mineral Blue) | Wide Striped Pillows | Thin Striped Pillows | Paisley Lumbar Pillows | Oversized Baskets | Frame TV | Frame TV Art | Vase | Oversized Green Branch | Similar Grapewood Branch | “Surf Tribe” | “Joie” | “Summer to Summer” |  Ceramic Urchin Catchall | Lamps | Console Table | Woven Roman Shades (Bonaire Flaxen)

Palecek Isla Chandelier Look for Less Options

Below, I’ve found several great options for a look for less to the Palecek Isla chandelier. But, I think the closest is this new scalloped chandelier that just launched from Pottery Barn! It mimics the shape and scale most closely!

SOURCES: SAVE Scalloped Chandelier | SPLURGE Scalloped Chandelier

For reference, here is a look at the cone version of the look for less option in our bathroom. I would argue it’s a smidge less orange in person than it appears online, so not as dramatic of a difference compared to the Isla Chandelier.

BATHROOM SOURCES: Woven Cone Pendants (small size) | Blue Velvet Ribbon (similar here) | Vase | Pre-Lit Birch Stems | Faux Orange Stems | Faux Pine Stems | Cabinet Knobs | Cabinet Bin Pulls | Reversible Pine Tree Towel | Citrus & Sage Hand Soap | Bath Mats | Faucets

Following are even more look for less options. I’ve included a variety of sizes as well as styles (including semi-flushmount) if this is a look you love as well! Whether you are most drawn to the scallops or the rope or the overall scale, the options below offer something for all at a variety of price points. You’ve lived with 3 cats. How do you keep the cat hair off fixtures like this without cleaning them every day??? I have always used something that can be cleaned with pledge, windex or just taken off and put in the sink. LOL

Honestly I’ve never had an issue with them (or the ones we had in Omaha which were a woven rattan and we had them 5 or so years). Maybe I need to inspect them more closely 😉 But they have been very maintenance-free!
