For as long as we’ve been married, Kurtis has pretty much always asked for Lowe’s gift cards for Christmas if he doesn’t have something specific in mind. He knows it will quickly be put to use! Admittedly it’s one of my favorite stores too – especially the garden center! But they have so many great gift ideas, as well as stocking stuffers, for a huge variety of people on your list. Kurti is sharing his top gift ideas from Lowe’s today (and I’ve added a few of my own personal favorites, as well)!

Since our closest Lowe’s is now 20-30 minutes away depending on traffic, we love using their feature when you can order online and pick up curbside. It’s super quick and then we don’t have to spend time in the store looking for what we need! It’s brought right out to our car! They now even offer local same-day delivery for many items when you order by 2 pm (in many locations) which could be dangerous for us. It’s almost a little too convenient 😉 But it’s such a great option during this busy season when we likely all have so many other commitments!
Today Kurtis is sharing some of his top gift picks! These are items we already own and love or he has on his personal wish list. Following are his top picks, along with a few details on a few as to why he loves each so much.
- Bosch BLAZE 100-ft Indoor Red Laser Distance Measurer with Backlit Display – Sarah bought this a few years ago, and admittedly I was skeptical. So much so I double-checked every measurement with a tape measurer. But this is an item we both love and use weekly (and sometimes daily)! It’s really handy.
- DEWALT 20V MAX 2-Tool Brushless Power Tool Combo Kit with Soft Case (2-Batteries and Charger Included)
- Ooni Karu 12 Hearth Charcoal/Wood Outdoor Pizza Oven – This has been on my wishlist for sometime now. Maybe Sarah will finally get the hint 😉
- Little Giant Ladders Multi M14 14.3-ft Reach Type 1a- 300-lb Load Capacity Telescoping Multi-Position Ladder – We owned one of these ladders in Omaha but gifted it to a friend when we moved. We now borrow our friend’s but I need to just buy one of our own, because they are so useful. I love that they’re easy to store despite the telescoping ability to reach really high spots (helpful with our 12′ ceilings)!
- Kobalt 297-Piece Standard (SAE) and Metric Polished Chrome Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case
- Werner NXT1A 6-ft Fiberglass Type 1a- 300-lb Load Capacity Step Ladder – This is our day-to-day ladder when we don’t need to reach extra high spots. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver but very sturdy.
- Dyson V15 Cordless Pet Stick Vacuum (Convertible To Handheld) – We got this vacuum earlier this year and it makes vacuuming as fun as possible. The laser light finds an unbelievable amount of fur, dust, crumbs, etc. even when you think your floor is relatively clean.
- DEWALT FLEXTORQ IMPACT READY Impact Driver Bit (100-Piece)
- DEWALT Stealthsonic Quiet 9-Gallon 5-HP Corded Wet/Dry Shop Vacuum with Accessories Included – I don’t use our wet/dry shop vac often, but when I do it’s because I really need it and I’m so grateful I have it. It has come in useful more times than I can count and it has so many practical uses.
