Summer weather is officially here, and we’ve been hard at work preparing our outdoor spaces to enjoy for the season. We also have a number of guests arriving in the coming weeks, so I didn’t want to delay getting the spaces cleaned up and put together. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite new finds for the backyard.

Our Recent Backyard Furniture Upgrades
The pool area and outdoor dining table are likely where we’ll spend a lot of our time this summer. We were in need of some new outdoor umbrellas and side tables for the pool space, since we sold our old ones prior to our move down to Florida. And since they’re both essentials for poolside entertaining, I started my search this spring for the perfect options!
There’s a local breakfast spot Kurtis and I frequent, Raw & Juicy, and they have the absolute best outdoor spaces! I’ve been a long time fan of their double-scallop umbrellas paired with wicker furniture and white tables. So much so, I stalked the umbrella labels to try and replicate. Thankfully, I was able to quickly find the umbrellas at Wayfair! The prices were great and I love that they offer free shipping on orders over $35.
But, once I found the source of the outdoor umbrellas and saw all 10 of the color options available, I figured the light blue might be a better fit for our backyard. Between the pavers, the fence, the house, and the cabana, there is already a lot of white. So, the light blue seemed like a fun alternative. Here’s how they look in our space now! Wayfair also carries a great look-for-less outdoor lounge chair option that is very similar to ours! One of my friends owns them and they’re beautiful in person!
We also needed some new side tables for drinks. There are so many great options at Wayfair right now (I share a bunch more below). I love the rustic, raw white finish on these side tables, and they’re much easier to maneuver than others I’ve used in the past. The shape is so chic and perfect for this spot and between the chaise lounge chairs.

Do you plan on keeping the cushions, pillows, etc., outside all season? Do you rush to get them indoors when it rains???
Most of them have been out there since September when we moved in 🙂 We give them a good power washing a few times a year, but don’t fuss over them too much. We’ve also pulled them twice for tornado/high wind warnings. Otherwise, we always leave them out!
Can you please do a post about fire pits? I’m having the hardest time finding just the right one. Or, if there is one that you recommend please let me know! I love your style.
