My Christmas decorating is well underway, and nearly complete! I’ll be sharing my full Christmas home tour later this week, but today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite Christmas greenery and stems I’ll be using this season.

Real-Touch Norfolk Pine Branch Look for Less
In my 2024 Christmas Design boards you may have noticed I used greenery that looked like these stems a lot. I pretty much have a vase with greenery in every room! But, those stems are a bit cost-prohibitive to have in literally every room, so I recently searched for a few alternatives with a similar vibe.
I did a quick video on Instagram the other day after I unboxed some look-for-less options. The original real-touch Norfolk pine is the branch on the right. It’s obviously much larger than the other two options. But, when it’s not on sale, it’s $24 for one stem, whereas with the other two, you get 12 stems for around $40 (as of the time of publishing this post). So it’s really just a matter of what you’re looking for. I really liked both options, but the one in the middle is nearly an identical match for my favorite option, just on a smaller scale. The one on the left is a great option too. They’re just slightly less soft, and have lighter green tips.

From the image above, I styled all twelve of the middle stems in the vase below. The vase is rather large, and I need to find something better to put inside to prop them up a bit, but here you can see how they look styled! With smaller vases, you could likely split them into 2-3 arrangements!

For comparison purposes, here is how the original stems looked last year in our coastal Christmas home tour! They’re in the same vase, so you can see they are quite a bit taller. Side note: I love mixing in these pre-lit birch stems to various arrangements. I have both the white and brown versions and I love that they have timers and look so beautiful at night!

Additional Christmas Greenery & Stems
There are so many other cute Christmas stems and greenery available right now! I picked up a few of these stems after seeing them in person at the local store. They’re rather large so a few go a long way!

These artificial juniper and berry stems are great to use alone or mixed in with other greenery! I love the blue berries on them.

This bundle is also great if you want a mixed look. It’s on the smaller side, so if you have a large vase, you’ll likely need more than one. Following are some other Christmas stems you may enjoy this holiday season!

Hi Sarah. Read this years ago. Put bubble wrap in a large vase to bring stems up. Works great.
Great idea! Seems like a quick and easy solution – thank you!
All of that looks like stuff the cats would like to play with.
Ours are actually pretty good about not messing with it! I have noticed sometimes they’ll chew on one near us to get our attention if they want fed, etc. They know they get a reaction out of me when they do 😉
